EAU FOLLE

After the Second World War, a number of perfumes set out to bring a little well-being and relief to the population. Combining fresh, luminous notes with stronger, richer base notes, these creations were later dubbed ‘eaux fraîches’. Paul Vacher, the iconic Le Galion perfumer, was one of the first to work with this olfactory style, and in 1953 presented Whip, a delicious burst of citrus fruits contrasting with an aromatic heart and a woody, chypre base.
