Pink pepper gives a fresh and modernized hook to a mainly floral heart of rose and jasmine. All the elements of a grand chypre are gathered to harmonize with one another, but beware of the arousing sensuality of patchouli and musk in the drydown!
Chypre is one of the rare formulas to date back to Le Galion’s founding by Prince Murat in 1930. In 2020, Jean-Christophe Hérault gave this fragrance a modern look by composing this wardrobe essential, non devoid of elegance and mystery.

Top Notes: Pink pepper and rose
Heart Notes: Jasmine and rose
Base Notes: Patchouli, musk, animalis base, and vetiver
« In this fragrance, I used very contemporary raw materials such as the fresh and clean rose oxide, but also olfactory markers that pay tribute to 20th century perfumery, such as the famous and incredibly sensual Animalis base. To me, this sums up everything that makes the Chypre style relevant, as a true classic to be interpreted - and worn! – forever. »
