With an energy multiplied tenfold by the irrepressible desire for freedom, Eau Folle generously and vividly projects a bouquet of aromatic herbs with spicy, green and herbaceous facets. Tonic and stimulating, top notes rise to power before handing over to a base of diffusive, humid woods that extend their freshness. The latter in a concentration never seen before for this olfactive family: 25%!
From the 1960's, perfumes set out to bring out a renewed freshness, compared to older and heavier ones. Combining fresh, luminous notes with stronger, richer base notes, these creations culminated in the 1970's and were later dubbed ‘eaux fraîches’. Paul Vacher, Le Galion's historic perfumer, was one of the first to explore this olfactory style, and as early as 1953 presented Whip, now a classic from the house. Over the years, he went on with Cologne or Eau Noble. Borrowing its name from a now-defunct iconic creation from the 1970s, our Eau Folle was launched in 2025, paying homage to Paul Vacher's famous eaux fraîches in a contemporary style with a never-ending lasting.

« I imagined Eau Folle as complementary to its accomplices Eau Noble, Whip, Cologne and Cologne Nocturne. Genderless, smooth and carefree, with a wild herbal vigour and unbridled woody power. Like a breath of fresh air that would sweep away our doubts. »
