Sun, flowers & fruit

A juicy and joyous bergamot and pineapple opening introduces an unbridled floral character, with an abundance of orange blossom and creamy jasmine on a bed of delicious vanilla, wood and musk.

Brumes was created in 1938 by Paul Vacher, during the worrying spread of fascism in Europe, as a symbol of hope, escapism, and freedom. In 2020, Vanina Murraciole transferred this composition to a contemporary setting of flowers and fruit.

« Although its name – which literally means “mists” – doesn’t necessarily reflect it, Brumes is a very sunny fragrance, bursting with light and colour. This is why I started with a heart of radiant white flowers, and then added delicious fruit on top, all on a base of subtly gourmand chypre. »
